We went to spend time before the Manning camp, and we were impressed by our guide’s knowledge. It’s a nice quick tour to do in the area, pretty interesting to see the architecture of the time including old kitchen artifacts.

This was our first trip to Louisiana and we initially had requested a boat tour of the bayou with a stop at the plantation without knowing much about the E. D. White House. Ashley Franklin was our tour guide and she was amazing from the beginning to the end of our tour! The place is not very large so it doesn’t take a long time to see everything. The tour lasts about 30 minutes to an hour depending on how many questions you have and how much you want to know. We learned so much and really enjoyed the house, kitchen, and the beautiful oaks. Ashley knew so much about the local history and answered all of our questions. We loved the tour and are very glad we went!!
